USA’s Inter Miami Pushes Hard To Signing Messi
Lionel Messi is yet to determine his future once and for all, but the indications confirm his approach to the MLS at the end of the 2022-23 season.
Inter Miami are increasingly confident that Argentina’s Lionel Messi could be signed by Paris Saint-Germain in the coming period.
English journalist David Ornstein, who is among the most credible in terms of transfer market news, revealed on his Twitter account that Messi was approaching Inter Miami.
“Inter Miami is increasingly confident of signing Lionel Messi, there is no complete agreement, but Inter Miami now expects the 35-year-old to join the team,” Ornstein wrote in a tweet posted Monday morning.
“The club hopes to be able to finish the deal in the coming months, and talks between the two parties will return after the 2022 World Cup.”
He concluded: “Paris Saint-Germain wishes to renew his contract, and Barcelona will try to recover it.”
It is understood that Inter Miami have been negotiating with Messi for several years, and that the growing confidence of the team part-owned by England legend, David Beckham, is evidence that there is an agreement soon between the parties.
Things about Messi’s future will certainly be completely calm until the end of the 2022 World Cup, but they will be back in flames in January 2023.
