Dani Alves, interested in buying a football club
The Brazilian defender is part of a group of investors interested in the operation and has already addressed the issue at a meeting held in Barcelona
Dani Alves, former player of Barcelona and Seville, is interested in the acquisition of Amora, club in the Third Division of Portugal, according to the sports newspaper Record.
Alves, 39, is part of a group of investors who want to join the Amora project, 75% owned by the Spanish group Odemira Capital.
Meeting with a Spanish businessman
The same outlet also advances that Alves, who currently plays with UNAM Pumas in Liga MX Apertura (Mexico top division), already addressed the issue in a meeting in Barcelona with the Spanish businessman José María Gallego, owner of the aforementioned group, President of SAD and majority shareholder of the Portuguese club, as well as being a shareholder of Real Betis in LaLiga Santander.
The negotiations are at an initial stage, and it is not yet known whether the former Barca player intends to take over part or all of the shares.
Amora FC, club represent civil parish, is just 20 kilometers from Lisbon (Portugal’ Capital), is currently active in the League 3 of Portuguese football and was acquired by Odemira Capital in mid-2021.
